Ocean Colour Scene is a Britpop band from Birmingham, England. Formed in the late 1980’s after two local bands The Boys and Fanatics split up, Ocean Colour Scene only reached the mainstream success with their second album in 1996, “Moseley Shoals.” Released during the height of the Britpop explosion, “Moseley Shoals” was released to wide critical acclaim and chart success, with the album reaching number two in the UK Albums Chart. Ocean Colour Scene followed up their successful debut with “Marchin’ Already” in 1997 and achieved similar success, even overtaking Oasis at the top of the charts. More than two decades since their formation, the boys of Ocean Colour Scene: Simon Fowler, Steve Cradock, Oscar Harrison, Dan Sealey, Andy Bennett continue to make great music.
