Candy Dulfer Biography

Candy Dulfer is a famous smooth jazz musician and alto saxophone player from The Netherlands. This talented jazz saxophone player started playing by the age of six. Her father gave Candy Dulfer her first solo break; and at age 11, she recorded her first single for the album called “I Didn’t Ask” in the year 1981. And by the time she was 14 years old, led her own band ‘Funky Stuff’ who, in 1987 performed two opening acts for Madonna at her European Tour. This was followed by playing opening acts for the singer Prince, in the Netherlands in 1989. In the year 1990, Candy Dulfer met producer Dave Stewart who gave her, her initial UK Chart topper credit for the movie song, ‘Lily was here’. It was number one on the Dutch Radio. Since then, the career of Candy Dulfer has never looked back.
