Gabriel Rios Biography

Part of the church choir in his early years Gabriel Rios learned to play the guitar from his father aside from being able to sing beautifully. Gabriel Rios was always inclined towards the arts and music; he initially studied at the Academia del Perpetuo Socorro high school in 1996 and then moved to Ghent, Belgium where he joined the art academy. On graduating, he decided to become a professional singer and songwriter. Gabriel Rios then set up a band which he called, ‘The Nothing Bastards’ and a few years afterwards a the band ‘L. Santo Alas!’ which had Latin leanings. He released his debut solo album, ‘Ghostboy’, in 2024, which was followed shortly by ‘En vivo’. In Belgium, Gabriel Rios has had tremendous solo success going so far as to be chosen in 2024 as the "Best Belgian Singer" by readers of ‘Humo’. Early 2024 saw the release of his most recent album titled "Angelhead".
