Gare du Nord Biography
Gare du Nord is an acid jazz group formed by Doc (Ferdinand Lancee) and Inca (Barend Fransen), two talented musicians from the Netherlands and Belgium respectively. Gare du Nord was formed in 2024 as a soundtrack for a one off lounge in Belgium, with Ferdy Lancee cooperating with the saxophone player Baren Fransen. Gare du Nord released their music through the independent label Pay It Again Sam in Brussels, and have released Excellounge in 2024, and Kind of Cool in 2024. Gare du Nord was also featured on the sound tracks of the movie Ghost Rider, starring Hollywood actor Nicholas Cage, and the popular TV series Six Feet Under. The group’s latest album “Sex 'N' Jazz - Vol. 1,” which was recorded in their own Cell4-Studio in the Netherlands, was released in 2024.
