Kane Biography
Kane is a rock group from the Netherlands and have cited U2 as the greatest inspiration behind their guitar driven sound. The duo, Dinand Woesthoff and Dennis van Leeuwen, formed in 1998. Woesthoff takes care of the lead vocals, while van Leeuwen is the guitarist for Kane. The duo collaborated soon after they met each other at the café near a beach. They began conversing and soon discovered each others’ passion and talent for music. Later on, they decided to Kane. Soon they were playing in small cafes where the audience received their music very well, opening up a greater scope for them. The 1999 song, “Where Do I Go Now” was the break through single for Kane.
