Travis Biography
Travis is composed of 4 Scottish members, playing a variety of instruments such as the banjo, the guitar and keyboards. Their story is a remarkable one. After winning a competition and getting some airtime they drew the attention of producer Niko Bolas, who contacted them and basically taught them how to play. Then, after the death of Fran Healy’s grandfather, he decided where he wanted to go with Travis and drastically altered the line-up and management of the band as a result. From there on, the band started to get ever more popular and by now has grown to be one of the best-known bands in the industry.
