Grammy Award-winning hard rock group Wolfmother hails from Sydney, Australia. The stoner and psychedelic rock band was formed in 2000 and features Andrew Stockdale on vocals and guitars, Chris Ross on bass and Myles Heskett on drums. Wolfmother released their self-titled debut EP in 2004. The EP sold well, reaching the 35th spot on the ARIA singles chart and getting significant airplay. In 2005, Wolfmother rerecorded the four tracks in the EP and included them in them in their first full-length album Wolfmother. The album went on to spawn five hit singles, with Woman giving Wolfmother a Grammy Award in 2007 for Best Hard Rock Performance. The album, which has also won two ARIA Awards for Best Breakthrough Album and Rock Album, is certified gold in the United States.
